I was impressed with the quality of the transformers before I even installed them into the amplifier, but now that I've heard them I think you must have a very fine transformer winder working for Megahertz. I would say the amplifier has the grace of the 2A3, with the clarity of the 12B4A, and the beautiful midrange of the 6CL6. I imagine that when the transformers are fully burnt in then the amplifer will be a match for many an expensive 300B setup. The rest of the system is a Njoe Tjoeb cd player, TVC preamp using SACthailand iron, and Hawthorne Audio Sterling Silver Iris open baffle loudspeakers. All together the system sounds great.
